Summing up skin care. Some rules to follow more.

don't touch

Don’t touch: Beware of mannerisms like continually toying with a fringe or strand of hair framing the side of your face. That’s the sort of thing which can lead to spots or skin blemishes.

The neck is important: Remember that your face includes your neck, and the area under your chin and that the sides of your face are just as important as the portion you can see full face in the mirror.

The first to age: The oiliest part of the face is at the nostrils and the driest at about the eyes. Treat these two areas with exceptional care as they are the first to show signs of aging with nose-to-mouth lines and around-the-eye lines.

Go gently: Eyes deserve the gentlest of care. The skin around your eyes is so thin and fragile, so unprotected by basic bone structure and supporting tissue, that it is extremely vulnerable. When applying moisturizer or eye cream to the surrounding area, use fingertips only in a patting action. Never rub or scrub.

Making amends: There is always time to make amends in skincare. Although you can’t put back the clock, you can slow up the effect of aging by using preparations correctly and regularly. You must care for your skin on a daily basis. Most important of all, if you treat yourself to a skincare preparation, make sure you treat your skin accordingly, reading every word of the accompanying instructions before you start applying the product haphazardly.
